Injection Molding

M2 adopts Roctool’s Heat & Cool molding technologies, the level of the tool surface replication reaches 97.2%, providing product designers very premium looks, high gloss possibilities and matching the texture they initially targeted. The flow increase with Roctool high heat molding technology unlocks design rules and pushes the limits in order to create thin wall applications. T0 FAI reaches 80%. We provide a wide range of tooling materials and injection materials to sartify various customized manufacturing demands from clients all over the world.

February, 2009

M2 Prototype was founded in Chongqing, offering customized manufacturing services, with an initial focus on consumer products and fast turnaround times.

April, 2010

M2 incorporated precision cnc machining into its services, enabling the company to produce high-precision parts with strict tolerances, expanding its services to automotive field.

January, 2012

M2 established a vacuum casting workshop, providing cost-effective solutions for low volume production and limited edition product lines.

March 2014

M2 invested in SLA 3D printing workshop, expanding its prototyping capabilities to include complex geometries and multiple materials, attracting clients from more fields.

June, 2016

M2 expanded more surface finishing services all in house, offering a complete turn-key solution from design to fully finished prototypes.

September, 2018

M2 enlarged a tooling and injection workshop, allowing for small to medium batch production of high-quality, consistent parts, serving industries including electronics, lighting and automotive.

October, 2019

By launching its SLS and SLM 3D printing lines, M2 expanded its capabilities and unlocked numerous applications in the medical, defense, and transportation fields.

May, 2021

Mutual capital injection between M2 Prototype and Mirach Metallurgy Group finally achieved.

February, 2023

German Zeiss CONTURA CMM

Its advanced scanning technology enables fast and precise data acquisition for efficient quality control, it has a dynamic design for enhanced precision and speed, ensuring optimal performance in challenging production environments. With its excellent accuracy, robustness, and flexibility, Zeiss CONTURA is a reliable solution for demanding measurement tasks in industries such as aerospace, automotive, medical, and electronics.

Swiss TESA Micro-Hite 600 height gauge

It is designed for internal and external dimensions, heights, depths, or distance measurements of flat, parallel, and cylindrical geometric shapes. It can perform one-dimensional or two-dimensional measurements, with a particular emphasis on the quick, efficient and accurate measurement of heights and depths. The accuracy (overall) is (2+3L)μm (L in m). It is widely used in industries such as plastics, injection mold tooling, and hardware manufacturing.

Mitutoyo SJ-410 roughness tester

It is a precision instrument designed for measuring the surface roughness or smoothness of various materials, including hardware products and plastic products, widely used in industries such as hardware manufacturing, mold tooling, and others. The measurement range is 800μm with a resolution of 0.0001μm, which allows for quick and accurate measurements of surface roughness or smoothness.

Nikon V-12B contour projector

It is used for magnified projection inspection, measurement, comparison, photography, and listing recording of the size, length, shape, and contour of an object. It has an accuracy of 0.0002mm.

VMS-4030H 2.5 dimensional automatic image measuring instrument

It is fully automatic vision measuring machine integrates optical, mechanical, electrical, and computer imaging technology, designed for all applications that require two-coordinate measurement, widely used in industries such as machinery, electronics, plastics, molds, and hardware manufacturing. With high-precision lens imaging, it can perform micro-inspection of precision parts, effectively measuring the contours, surface shape dimensions, angles, and positions of various complex workpieces, and convert measurements into statistics and graphical representations. The measurement accuracy is 2.5+L/100 μm.

The Hitachi X-MET8000 handheld X-ray fluorescence spectrometer

It is used for rapid alloy grade identification and accurate chemical structure analysis of various materials, including solid and powdered metals, polymers, light elements, wood, soils, ores, minerals etc, providing reliable results and is an essential tool for quality control, material sorting, and alloy identification.
